Registration Terms & Conditions

It is essential for the welfare of our students that Stagestars Scotland is informed of any change to personal information, including telephone numbers and email addresses.

Please keep us informed of any changes to family circumstances, so that we are able to support the student where necessary. Of course all information given is treated confidentially.

Students/Parents/Carers are requested to notify us of any accident, injury or new allergy suffered by the student since the last attended session, so that this can be updated on our records.

The school will NOT accept members to attend who are suffering from any contagious disease or who have had diarrhoea or vomiting within the previous 48 hours. We do NOT want these to be passed on to others. Please refrain from attending if this is the case.

Students should wear correct uniform at all times and no jewellery is to be worn. Long hair must also be tied back.

All fees are to be paid in advance at the start of a term. Payment is preferred by Bank transfer (as per email) to Stagestars Scotland. After two weeks a further 10% per week will be charged for late fees. Non payment of fees after four weeks will result in the student being asked to leave.

I understand that once I have committed to a term, term fees are non refundable. If Stagestars has to be cancelled for any reason, ie due to weather or other circumstances, no refunds will be made. However, we will always do our best to replace the session.

Parents and students must adhere to the Stagestars Code of Conduct on our website.

Safeguarding Children: Parents are required to read and sign this form and be responsible for collecting children promptly at the end of sessions.

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a doctor prior to enrolling my child in this class, should I have any concerns about my child’s health, and decide whether it is safe for him/her to participate.

I recognise that Stagestars classes require physical exertion that may be strenuous and may occasionally cause injury, and I am fully aware of the risks involved. I understand that Stagestars Scotland has public liability insurance, but if I require personal accident cover I will arrange this privately. I agree to assume full responsibility for any injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which may incur as a result of participating in Stagestars classes. I waive any right to claim compensation against Stagestars Scotland or the coaches, in case of injury or strains sustained during the class.

I understand that personal belongings are not insured by Stagestars, therefore I assume full responsibility for these and expect no compensation if items are lost or stolen.

Testimonials

I love gymnastics. My favourite things are doing circle ups on the bars and handsprings on the air track. The coaches are so nice and they always encourage me to try new things!

My Son has attended the Stagestars Junior class for two years now.
This 1 hr class is the highlight of his week and I cannot recommend it enough!
As well as learning fantastic new skills and techniques in relation to Singing, dancing, and Drama, the class has helped him to be able to express himself, to gain in confidence and self esteem and allowed him the opportunity to meet other children with similar likes and interests to him.
I cannot praise the staff enough for their commitment, enthusiasm and passion they show in how they teach the children, getting to know them, not just as a class, ,but as individuals with different skills and strengths.
Thank you to everyone at Stagestars!

My daughter started with Stagestars PAS 4 years ago aged 8. Since starting she has been involved in two big shows and a number of other performances which she has loved and which have given her opportunities to learn in performing arts and grow with her self confidence. I too have thoroughly enjoyed learning and seeing for myself how things go backstage after helping behind the scenes of two big show performances. The work and commitment that goes into the shows is fantastic, both from staff and students, and the pride that the students show in themselves and each other is amazing! It was truly great to see! Staff are fantastic and my daughter has become especially fond of all her teachers there. I would and will always recommended Stagestars to anyone. It is a great place where the kids can relax, let go, be themselves and have lots of fun with some very talented mentors.

Many thanks to  Seonaid for the excellent keyboard and music reading skills my daughter has learnt during the group keyboard lessons at Stagestars. The most fantastic thing of all is that she has so much fun during the lessons, that the learning seems to be happening without her even realising! A brilliant way to learn musical skills for primary ages, thanks Stagestars!

Stagestars Scotland is a well organised, professionally run stage school on your doorstep which provides a variety of music, dance and drama based activities for all ages to a standard you would expect in large city. And how do I know this – well I’m proud to say that my family and I are part of it. My son has grown in confidence, achieved great things, stretched his ability and loved his 9 years as part of the team, and is looking forward to having 10 years under his belt as a performing arts student. The adult theatre school has given me the chance to return to a hobby which I enjoyed before I had my family, and given me opportunities which I thought had long gone! All thanks to Seonaid and her amazing staff.
