Stagestars Performing Arts School and Theatre Company generally work towards a large scale production which aims to showcase the work done during weekly sessions. The Theatre Company collaborates with the Performing Arts School for this annual production.
Stagestars produces highly successful musicals, designed to showcase the talent within the company. Auditions are held for main roles.
Performances and Events
Throughout the year our students put on smaller performances and displays within the school and local community. These are short displays to show parents and/or the local community what our students have been learning. It provides a good starting point for many younger students, who are not yet confident enough to be in the main productions.
Stagestars productions are slick and professional and an amazing showcase of all the brilliant talent that is right on your doorstep in the north east of Scotland. You’ll be sure to get goosebumps!
I really enjoy singing, dancing and acting so Stagestars is perfect for me! It's great fun and I have met new people from other schools. My favourite time is Show time!
My Son has attended the Stagestars Junior class for two years now.
This 1 hr class is the highlight of his week and I cannot recommend it enough!
As well as learning fantastic new skills and techniques in relation to Singing, dancing, and Drama, the class has helped him to be able to express himself, to gain in confidence and self esteem and allowed him the opportunity to meet other children with similar likes and interests to him.
I cannot praise the staff enough for their commitment, enthusiasm and passion they show in how they teach the children, getting to know them not just as a class but as individuals with different skills and strengths.
Thank you to everyone at Stagestars!
I recommend the Pilates class. I was advised to go by my osteopath after suffering from back pain. At the beginning I really wasn't sure about it but I stuck it out. I'm so glad that I persevered as I am stronger and am more flexible, although there's still plenty of room for improvement! However, the biggest bonus is I haven't had any back pain since starting!
The staff are always friendly, caring and professional.
My son looks forward to his Stagestars class every Thursday and has been attending now for 2 years.Having the mix of the three classes is just fantastic; music, drama and dance, which I feel gives a much stronger rounded performer. The school is like a second family to him and it's wonderful that he is not the only boy, which used to be case at other dance classes he tried. It's also wonderful for him to mix with children away from his day to day schooling, which will help him not only in performance, but the bigger social picture of life. Traveling 40miles is a commitment, but one worth having and getting home late after 9, but with a total buzz of what the new song or dance move is. Wonderful to see such enthusiasm and passion from a ten year old boy. Thank you Seonaid and the whole team.
I love gymnastics. My favourite things are doing circle ups on the bars and handsprings on the air track. Laura and Leigh Anne are the best teachers ever!
