Jungle Tots – 0 to 4 years

Jungle Tots helps build your child’s sensory awareness. A multi-activity class, it incorporates tummy time, movement, visual development and sign language.

Designed especially for pre-school tots, we try to make all activities and sensory fun simple so that it can be easily replicated at home.

The sessions use a mix of traditional and contemporary nursery rhymes and stories. All of our classes start and end with our ‘Hello and Goodbye’ song which we use different actions for. It will just melt your heart the first time your child starts dancing along!

Little Explorers – 2 to 4 years

Little Explorers uses loose parts to create a rich environment for your child to play in. Loose parts can include natural resources like sticks and pine cones, building materials like planks and randomly found objects.

Loose parts play is about giving children the freedom to exercise their curiosity and explore their creativity.

Studies have shown that children prefer to play with loose parts as it gives them control of their own play and provides endless opportunities to use their own imagination. A simple stick can become a fishing rod, a sword, a magical wand or a light sabre.

The possibilities are endless and therefore so are the play and learning opportunities for your child.

Date and time
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9.30am -11.20am.
Little Explorers is held in our ‘curiosity classroom’ designed specifically to bring the feel of the outdoors indoors.

All pre-school sessions are facilitated by Stagestars Little Explorers Childcare, members of the Care and Learning Alliance. Staff are highly experienced and vetted and approved by PVG Scotland.

The team is hugely passionate about pre-school play and learning. Our main aim is to foster a happy, safe and caring atmosphere. We strive to help children and care givers socialise through fun to strengthen their very special bond.
